PSF Accepts Anthropic Grant

Mario is one of the lone voices in the Python/Django community that has spoken up about the harms that AI has done and continues to do. And maybe the only person in said community that has spoken out against things that Django co-creator Simon Willison has said (in the last few years, almost all he blogs about is AI).

Bravo to all of this!

I will say that I’m glad that an AI company is at least pretending to give something back to Python, since apparently it is the language de rigueur of AI. But fuck them.
